And, Howard was very dedicated to the concept of applying, "Accelerated Learning," principles to the study of both songwriting & practice of the guitar. For many years throughout the 1980's, Howard also wrote a column for, "Guitar Player," magazine. During this period he broke down many of the concepts from his popular G.I.T. course-book on, "Speed Learning for Guitar."
