This year Billy is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his debut recording "Spectrum" that kicked off his solo career in overdrive. The album has been a staple for most drummers of all musical genres including the jazz, rock, and fusion idioms and many drummers to this day study and hail Billy as a major influence in their careers. Gary is the innovator of what is call the "open-handed" drumming style.The tour reunites him with violinist Jerry Goodman and keyboardist Gary Husband.
