The types of polyrhythms covered in this episode are 3:2, 4:3 and 5:4. These concepts must internalized before more moving on to more advanced concepts like metric modulation (think Vinnie Colaiuta) or more complex linear patterns. In future videos I will show you how to use these concepts in orchestral writing.
