The popular band MAXIMUM THE HORMONE is releasing new single after a three-year absence. Lately, they announced the details.
The title of the new single is "GREATEST THE HITS 2011~2011". Just as suggested in the title, "All three tracks are masterpieces! All three tracks are main forces!". "It's not a best album that collects the past songs, but a best album of new songs of our own!", according to the band.
On February 3rd, a part of the new music video of "Chisana Kimi no Te", the song with a bright rhythm and cheerful lyric, has been released on the official website. The song is not much like the style of the band of all the time, but it has attracted large attention. However, "Chisana Kimi no Te" will not be included in the new single this time.
The idea is what Ryo-kun has been thinking of since three years ago.
The songs included in the single will be "Utsukushiki Hitobito no Uta" which is based on the experience of Ryo-kun's friend who has been experiencing depression, and "maximum the hormone", the one right after the rumor PV of "Chisana Kimi no Te", and "my girl" of which only reaction of staff is on the website and labeled "No Release Plan".
The new triple A-side single will be on sale on March 23rd. The price is surprisingly 1,292 yen, which "caused a stomach of the staff".
