Profile: Portal is the name given to the recordings of Scott Sinfield. The music has included contributions from others, notably vocalist Rachel Hughes who appeared on Portal's albums between 2000 and 2005, and guitarist Jon Attwood, who also records under the moniker Yellow6. Contrary to some assertions, Portal did not disband in 2006, but rather went on sabbatical, with Scott becoming a father and concentrating on the running of the independent label Make Mine Music. A new Portal EP entitled "Options" will be released in 2009, featuring contributions from various guest vocalists.
