Unsurpassed Masters is the most recognized series of Beatles bootlegs ever.
This is the fifth volume of the 7.
It features some supurb Abbey Road and Let It Be outtakes from 1969.
First appearance of the Abbey Road Side 2 medley acetate (tracks 8 & 9). At the time, they were calling it "A Huge Medley" but it's mistitled on the back cover as "A Huge Melody." The recording is overmodulated to the point of distortion, but it's all we've got. On track 9, the tape starts slow and gradually speeds up a few cents. The acetate source is stereo, but on this CD, it's mono.
First CD appearance from tape source of the other Abbey Road outtakes first bootlegged on vinyl in 1979. The original tape flaws are intact. Track 9 has a start-up "wow" in the speed.
Rounded out by the first appearance of these "Get Back" sessions from Nagra tapes.
All tracks mono.

Take 21 recorded on July 9, 1969.

Take 37 (reduction mix) recorded on July 11, 1969.
7. You Never Give Me Your Money/Sun King/Mean Mr. Mustard/Polythene Pam/She Came In Through 8. The Bathroom Window
The second remix of these songs, without orchestral, vocal, or solo overdubs. Also features "Her Majesty" between "Mean Mr. Mustard" and "Polythene Pam". Recorded on July 24, 28, and 30, 1969.

Second remix ("The End" is marked as "Ending" and featured no vocals). Recorded on July 3 and 23, 1969.
