The L-00 guitar style from the first golden age of guitars in the 1930s is known among fans as a "parlor" guitar or a "blues" box, and is especially prized by bluesmen of all eras for its compressed, woody tonal quality, short scale, and comfortable weight that makes it ideal for fingerpicking or the bark of a bottle neck slide. Originally, the L-00 was produced as an "economy line" guitar, featuring a smaller size and lighter construction. Though it was discontinued in 1945, the L-00 sized guitar got picked up by rock and roll fans enamored with the sounds of Robert Johnson, Blind Willie Johnson, and Lonnie Johnson. The EL-00 from Epiphone carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty featuring Gibson's 24/7/365 Customer Service that guarantees your blues machine against defects in materials or workmanship. Out of all of Les Paul’s many achievements—inventor, guitarist, hit recording artist—Les is most beloved among musicians for his Les Paul Standard, one of the most sought-after guitars in the world. And now, the Epiphone Ltd. Edition Les Paul Standard Quilt Top PRO gives the legend a fresh glow with Epiphone ProBucker-2™ and ProBucker-3™ pickups with coil-splitting, a AAA flame quilt maple veneer top, and beautiful new color finishes in Faded Cherry Sunburst and Trans Blue. Epiphone’s history with legendary guitarist and innovator Les Paul dates back to the early 1940s when Les, working nights at the Epiphone factory on 14th Street in New York City, created his prototype solid body electric guitar, “The Log.” Over the next 15 years, Les continued to develop his dream guitar that would “sustain for days”. In the late ’50s, Epiphone’s historic Kalamazoo factory made that dream come true with the Les Paul Standard and its new pickup, the “PAF” humbucker. Players like Slash, Joe Bonamassa, Ace Frehley, Zakk Wylde, Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson and countless others get their signature sound from the Les Paul Standard and now Epiphone gives you a chance to experience that one-of-a-kind tone at an affordable price with the Epiphone Ltd. Edition Les Paul Standard Quilt Top PRO. The Les Paul Standard Quilt Top PRO features ProBucker™ “PAF”-style pickups with coil-splitting, new colors and a beautiful AAA flame quilt maple veneer top for a vintage look with all the modern appointments that players expect from Epiphone.
When the Nighthawk was first introduced in 1993, it represented a departure from "tradition" with its 25.5" scale length and its versatile combination of coil-splitting humbucker and single coil pickups. Break-through designs don't always catch on right away. Such was the case with many now-iconic guitars including the Flying-V, the Explorer and even the Les Paul. Now, 18 years later, guitarists who originally dismissed the Nighthawk as too "different," now recognize what a great guitar it really was and still is! Great Tonewoods & Premium Construction! The design of the Nighthawk is essentially a combination of an SG (with a lower bout and thinner body) and a Les Paul (upper bout). Like those classic guitars, the Nighthawk features a solid mahogany body (with added "belly" scarf for comfort) and a glued-in SlimTaper™ 25 1/2" scale mahogany neck for a well rounded, warm tone with excellent sustain. The headstock is back-angled at 14 degrees, which increases pressure on the strings and helps them stay firmly in nut slots. To add brilliance as well as a smooth, durable playing surface, the Nighthawk Custom is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard, a favorite of serious guitar players for its resistance to wear. Combined with Epiphone’s Limited Lifetime Warranty backed by 24/7/365 Customer Service, you can rest assured that the Nighthawk Classic will give you years of worry-free performance. So if you missed out on the first Nighthawks because you thought they were a little too "different," now's your chance to redeem yourself and pick up this NEW classic for a great price!

The Dobro® resonator guitar has been an American classic since its arrival in the early 1920's. The wood resonator or resophonic style guitar became a national phenomenon thanks to Dobro® pioneer Bashful Brother Oswald, who became the instrument’s ambassador performing it weekly on the Grand Ole Opry for over 60 years. The resonator guitar is not only an iconic instrument for bluegrass and traditional American music. In the last decade, popular artists in country, blues, and bluegrass have rediscovered the beautiful and challenging Dobro. Historic Tone With A Twist
The classic Hummingbird style acoustic became one of the first acoustic guitars to become a recognized rock and roll icon thanks to Keith Richards, who used a Hummingbird on many Rolling Stones albums in the early ‘70s including Exile on Main Street and Sticky Fingers. Now, both beginners and professionals can enjoy a classic look designed and built with the integrity you expect from Epiphone. The Hummingbird can cut through an acoustic band and fire up any country rock recording with a sweet, balanced tone. And like all of our Epiphone acoustic guitars, the Hummingbird is also made tough. It goes in tune and stays in tune while the adjustable truss rod and rosewood bridge ensure stable intonation. In 1957, Gibson purchased Epiphone Instruments and moved production of the House of Stathopoulo to Kalamazoo, Michigan. Soon after the move, Epiphone began production of a new line of "Kalamazoo-made and designed" Epiphones. Over the next decade, Epiphone guitars and basses were produced right alongside Gibson instruments. But despite sharing the factory with Gibson, Epiphone instruments from that classic era offered players unique body styles, pickup arrangements, and tonal signatures not found on comparable Gibson models. Though many Epiphone models were under-appreciated at the time of their release, numerous artists through the years have recognized the unique appeal of these guitars. Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Kurt Cobain, Paul Gilbert and Steve Marriot are a few of the artists that embraced the tone and build quality of Kalamazoo built Epiphones. The Wilshire is perhaps the rarest of these guitars and ironically, one of the best! As with all Epiphones, the Wilshire is backed by Epiphone's Limited Lifetime Warranty and 24/7/365 Customer Service. Only 398 original 1966 Wilshires were produced and vintage models are selling today for $10,000 or more. Now, here's your chance to own a new one with the same classic 1966 Epiphone vibe and tone.
