"Sugar Mama" 是美国爵士、布鲁斯及放克音乐最本源的演绎者。她满饱深情的演唱具有强大的感召力，个性极其鲜明地传递着来自现实生活的幽怨和快乐，是美国黑人爵士布鲁斯音乐祖母级的人物。

Sugar mama and The Royal Hombres,还拥有美国吉他演奏家Greg Smith，意大利的鼓手Francesco Perre，菲律宾贝司手Jorland Paulino以及来自中国的小号手胡丹峰，丰玉程的加盟。

Sugar Mama 是一位在亚洲各个地区演出近二十年的美籍女歌手，在她年轻时期，曾经是Tina Turner的伴唱。三十岁以后，她开始来到亚洲演出，游历于台湾、马来西亚、日本和中国。1998年,Sugar Mama来到北京，2005年从北京把家搬到了上海，在上海Cotton club驻唱。2008年，Sugar Mama被诊断出患有肠癌，在此期间她一边休养一边继续在她热爱的舞台演出。2010年7月14日凌晨，Mama因病安静地离开了。

Sugar Mama is an American female singer who performed in various regions in Asia nearly two decades. When she was young, she once was an vocal accompaniment for Tina Turner. When she was over 30, she arrived in Asia ,tourring in Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan and China. In 1998 Sugar Mama arrived in Beijing, and in 2005 Sugar Mama moved to Shanghai from Beijing and sang in Shanghai Cotton club. In 2008, Sugar Mama was diagnosed with colon cancer,in this period of time Mama recuperated at the same time she took part in different performances. In the early morning of July 14 this year, Mama quietly passed away. Sugar Mama influenced a lot of local young musicians, and she is also a mama of all foreign singers in China in mind, in memory of her and musicians who put love into music and bring happiness to people in the rest of their life,all jazz musicians in Shanghai will gather together to offer up their love and expect that the wonderful music will always surround you.
