i've only recently discovered this band (of course
they're quite new anyway), so i have next to no
information as to their tunings, who plays what live, or
the benefit of any existing tabs. all i've seen is that one
of the guitarists uses a 7-string, and the other a 6.
i think the album has double-tracked 7-string rhythm
guitar, and various overdubbed leads when necessary
which are all playable on a 6-string of course.
bass notes: i did read that they have no bass player
currently and that they use some effect to achieve a
bass-like sound split from the guitar. i certainly hear at
the very least a sampled bass on the album if not a real
one, but either way i'm generally weak when it comes
to discerning bass so i offer no guarantee for its
accuracy
verse riff (m43 & 77): this caused me no small amount
of grief as there is most certainly an overdriven bass
playing that E every other quarter note, but i still hear
some slap-y percussive note action going on beneath.
what i ended up with is kind of a compromise; quarter
notes 1 and 3 follow the current rhythm
"nonsense tapping" section: i believe they use a
harmonizing pedal (in all minor 3rds) for this, but it could
just as well be like 4 layered guitars. as far as i cared to
listen, both channels are playing more or less the same
thing with a bit of difference in volume (i.e. for the
harmonizer effect). probably doesn't matter anyway, it's
fredrik thordendal-style chromatic tapping. just bullshit
your way through; the transcription is an extremely
quick&dirty guideline
"verse variations, etc" sections: i couldn't discern a
(repeating) subdivision used for any of these fast 16th
staccato riffs, outside of the chorus rhythm in different
contexts. there might be a few things off here and
there
"7/8 over 4/4" section: i could swear i hear a low Bb
on m158, but until i learn they use a tuning other than
B i'll just have to use octave+5th.
"buildup" section: those chords may be
overcomplicated or oversimplified. your mileage may
vary
GOOD LUCK
