Little Mix (formerly known as Rhythmix) are a British four-piece girl band comprising members Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall.[1] They were formed for the eighth series of The X Factor, where they became the first group entry to win in the programme's eight-year history, beating runner-up Marcus Collins. Whilst they were on The X Factor they were mentored by Tulisa Contostavlos.
