What Awaits Us is a Melodic Metalcore band of five determined guys from Hämeenlinna, Finland.
What Awaits Us' music is metalcore with melodic sidekicks. Being on constant dash since 2010, "WAU" has gathered hundreds of fans with their music. After publishing a demo and an EP titled “Smother What's Left” under the name of ArrorA, the band recently recorded a full length album "AWAKE" that will be released during the summer of 2014. The single called "Victims" from the upcoming album was realeased with a music video in November 2013.
What Awaits Us (Ex. ArrorA) was originally formed by guitarists Miika Pouttu and Olli Korpela in Hämeenlinna, Finland. After some time, the recent singer Jesse Sinisalo was found. Soon after Tatu Mäenpää grabbed the bass and Antti Kesseli took over the drums.
