The band decided to take a break in 1996, and returned five years later with a different line-up.
The current line-up are very much good friends with Diamanthian, so much that when the latter were touring Finland they went straight from the tour into the studio to record their debut album with the kind loan of Maple Cross' own equipment. Their debut album was also released through Marco's own label, Verikauha Records.
The band does not contain any original members, since Marco, the oldest current member, joined the band in time to record the second demo.
