Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko unveiled The Legend of Korra, a sequel series to the animated show Avatar: The Last Airbender, in 2012. This set features selected tracks from Jeremy Zuckerman's score for the new series, which includes a fascinating mix of instruments, including paigu drums, seven-string zithers, and a Mongolian stringed instrument called the matouqin, among other exotic musical touches, all of which makes this a fascinating listen, even without the story line.
