Living on a Back Street

Living on a Back Street finds the Spencer Davis Group slogging away at the heavy blues they first attempted on their initial reunion album, Gluggo. Like its predecessor, Living on a Back Street is hampered by faceless performances and bland material that has little relation to the classic Spencer Davis hits of the '60s. It's little wonder the group packed it in for the second and final time after the release of this album.
